Our career in Merchant Services began ten years ago, working with large companies such as Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Lynks Payment Systems among others.  We quickly learned that our merchants became nothing more than numbers in the eyes of these big companies. It was rare for us to have contact with any of our clients after the initial set-up and many of our merchants expressed difficulty getting answers to technical or billing issues through the “800” number of the parent company.  In addition, since 80% of our client base is within the Vietnamese business community, many of our merchants also experienced difficulty communicating their concerns with service representatives who spoke only English. 

After taking into consideration all of the problems that our merchants were experiencing, we decided to start our own company and provide our merchants with the type of service they needed to maintain a successful business.  We started out by looking for a processor to partner with, however, finding the “right” one proved to be very challenging.  

In our search, we learned a very valuable lesson--cheap rates usually mean hidden fees and poor customer service.  We finally found our current provider in NPC/Retriever, a reputable well-established processor that shares our business philosophy and desire to maintain lasting relationships with our merchants.   With over 30 years in the merchant services industry, NPC/Retriever has won numerous awards from both Visa and MasterCard for their exceptional customer service and unwavering integrity.  Through the years, NPC/Retriever has proven time and time again that they are an excellent match to help us provide you with the utmost in service and satisfaction.

2009 Marks a Major Milestone For Our Company

Celebrating our 10 Year Anniversary, we recently changed our name from Meridian Credit Card Service to VIP Payment Solutions.  We have evolved our business model to offer several different services including credit cards services, business cash advance, and equipment leasing solutions to small and medium size businesses.  

The change from Meridian Credit Card Services to VIP Payment Solutions was a long, thought-out process.  We decided on a name that would sincerely characterize our core business philosophy--these are the high standards to which we operate our business each and everyday.

Simply stated, our core business philosophy is “to deliver value with integrity and professionalism.”

Operating on this philosophy, we have been able to build a strong reputation that comes highly recommended.   We understand that our customers are the lifeline of our company and a happy, satisfied customer is a customer that will stay with us for life.  We are extremely proud and fortunate that we have customers that have worked with us since the inception of our business.  We will continue to work to be better and are firmly committed to providing our merchants with quality service, reliable performance and the best overall value.
